Olentangy Trail Closure at LOT Tuttle Park Shaft Site

On Wednesday, May 6th, Granite’s subcontractor, Igel, will need to close the Olentangy Trail at our Tuttle Park shaft site to remove a large, dead tree that has become a hazard for trail users.

The plan is for the tree removal subcontractor to begin work early Wednesday morning, which requires mobilizing machinery to be able to pick the cut pieces of the tree and lower them on to our construction site.

The detour will send southbound traffic on to the Hudson loop and take them along the temporary trail in front of our Tuttle Park shaft site and back to the Olentangy Trail just south of the pool. We will ensure that signage is up and ready for that morning. We expect the duration of the closure to only be one day but to be safe lets make the announcement for two days.
